Creatively Engaging in Education
Trinity calls its students to be active and intentional in regard to community, both in and out of the classroom, a mission that one class felt called to answer creatively. David “Woody” Lucas ’15 of Hobart, Indiana, has been named Trinity’s 29th Lincoln Laureate by the Lincoln Academy of Illinois. He was honored at the annual Student Laureate Convocation in Springfield, Illinois, on November 1. The Lincoln Academy’s Student Laureate Awards are presented for excellence in curricular and extracurricular activities to seniors from each of the state’s four-year, degree-granting colleges and universities, and one student from among the community colleges in Illinois.

The Well Armed Woman is a national gun club that caters to the growing number of female shooters who are new to the range. Its goal is to educate and empower women when it comes to firearms. If you live with someone long enough, you get to the point where you can talk about more personal aspects of life. For me, one of those times was during my freshman year of college when my roommate was sharing her reaction to her friend’s first trip to the gynecologist. My friend didn’t understand the purpose of scheduling a visit.
Sports Bra Breakdown
I broke down five different brands of sports bras, and in order to give you the best take on all of them, I asked my friend Mattie to weigh in. So now you have the opinion of one smaller-chested girl and one girl who is more well-endowed. Mattie’s often had the problem of having to wear multiple bras while working out so below she weighed in on her two favorite brands that work the best for her.
